Have you wondered in awe about the beautiful historic church on the corner of Mill and Oak? I as the pastor have never stopped being in awe…I mean when the hourly chimes ring throughout our community I stop… pause what I am doing and listen… especially at noon when the beautiful hymns are played.

I am in awe every time I hear the pipe organ play…whether it is for funerals, weddings, worship, or silent movies…what a treat!

I am in awe when I stand in the pulpit…a pulpit where pastors throughout generations have stood.

One must be in awe when they stand in the church where people have been worshiping since the 1800’s.

But what I am especially in awe about is the special people that serve this church…their dedication is remarkable!

We here at the First Congregational Church welcome you. We abide by Jesus’ last commandment: “Love your neighbor as I have loved you.” Our love is unconditional.
